Dear Friends,
This last weekend saw some very happy news coming from Los Angeles as SSM Alumni Justin Gray picked up a Grammy Award for his album Immersed. To say that the win was well deserved doesn't even begin to speak to the dedication and abilities Justin carries within. A laser sharp focus combined with a desire to do good, plus talents as a performer, composer, a producer, a recording engineer... the list goes on and on.
Have you ever been to a performance as an audience member and wonder what it might be like to sit in the middle of the group and hear everything from the inside? Justin's work plays with this idea, and the results are spectacular. Here's a wonderful short film with Justin discussing exactly this, and how he went about creating the album that now has the name Grammy forever attached to it:

Our congratulations to Justin (and to the host of musicians on the album, many of whom are also SSM alumni!). In his acceptance speech, he said "Music is a gift that we share. May we continue to uplift each other with this beautiful artform."
