Saba Yousefi is an Iranian‑Canadian violinist, educator, and arts administrator, and co‑founder of LyreIran, an organization dedicated to providing accessible music education with a focus on the Middle East. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in violin performance from the University of Toronto and has built an international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and ensemble member, including with the Ontario Philharmonic.
A former co‑founder of the Chaam Trio, Saba is known for blending Persian and Western contemporary music, engaging deeply with new works by modern composers, and advocating for physical and mental wellness in musicians. Her work spans performance, education, social and cultural initiatives, and arts leadership, with upcoming concerts highlighting contemporary Iranian women composers and an expanding role in arts fundraising and administration.
