In 2025, we celebrated the centenary of Oscar Peterson, one of the greatest jazz pianists in history and a true Canadian national treasure. A recipient of eight Grammy Awards and honored with the Order of Canada, he remains an essential figure in the world of music.
The program will feature, in addition to great jazz standards, Peterson’s most famous works, such as Place St-Henri, Hymn to Freedom, and Cakewalk, which will fill the evening. As a prelude to the concert, a multimedia presentation will immerse the audience in the world of the jazz master.
